Ugh. Ok. I'm blogging alot because I miss facebook.
Theres really nothing I have to say about love at the moment.
Timing is everything. This week I'm getting aggressive about my timing.

Man vs. Sammys
SOoooo my nanny job is freaking awesome, but it does have a few draw-backs.
1) the kids are ALWAYS getting me sick. Keegan has freakin pink eye today. Not stoked.
2)It's all the way in Lehi, which won't be a drawback driving-wise once I live there, but still. It's Lehi.
3)It takes me away from Sammys! Sure I still work there on the weekends, but it's a bummer when your best friend gets promoted to management and loves her job and could basically walk there and live there and get hotties all up on her all the time. (I'm talking about Kayla, my burst furnd and sammy's coworker. she's also single. and bangin')

RIP Milo
If you've followed my blog for a while, you know that I have a betta fish named Milo, who has actually gotten me through some tough times. I don't care how strange it is, I used to talk to that fish.
It's been over a year now since I got him, in fact I think it's been almost 2 years. The average life span of a betta fish is 3 years, so I feel overall he had a good time on this earth. He's been through 4 moves, one of which was in extreme heat and one was in extreme cold. He's lived through me forgetting to feed him, and not cleaning his bowl for a month, and the boys I nanny trying to touch him.
The weird thing about his death is that it was a violent death, yet a complete mystery. He was killed by the rocks in his tank falling on him, but I don't know how that could've happened since all the rocks are completely settled safely at the bottom of the bowl before I put him back in there.
I know that he was killed by the rocks because I found him underneath all the rocks yesterday, and his little fish guts were all over the place.
Sorry if that's graphic, but its the truth, and it's a mystery. I'd left him on the kitchen table because I kept planning on cleaning his bowl and forgetting, so I think maybe one of my roommates moved his bowl or nudged it or something and knocked a few rocks loose.
Who knows.
Whatever happened, he is gone. And I am legitimately sad. I really loved that fish. Read my first post about him here.

Boo
I was supposed to have moved out this past weekend, but the girl who was buying my contract changed her mind before anything was official. LAME.
If any of you live anywhere near Provo you know that the Holi festival was this weekend, and I missed it. That stupid sinus infection I had came back for me, and this time it was smarter. I was bedridden for a full 2 days. I went to Sacrament meeting and then left freaking EXHAUSTED.
The only fun thing I did this weekend was take a drive up to Aspen Grove. I love that drive.
Oh and I deleted my facebook. Thats not fun, but it was necessary. I've been feeling super unhealthy lately and I'm trying to fix that. Getting rid of facebook was a wise choice, and who knows how difficult. Especially since I was addicted to Happy Aquarium. Level 41. :: sigh ::
p.s. I sold my laptop and I need a new one. Suggestions?
p.p.s. the 3 yr old always sings when he is peeing. I can never make out the words but it always has a pirate anthem feeling to it. Like yo-ho type feeling. Very festive.

Hair
As someone brought up in a comment on my previous post, my ability to hide the shaved side of my head will become less and less since I'm moving in with them THIS weekend.
However, my hair is growing. Alot. I've always had hair that grows like crabgrass. So instead of worrying about hiding it, I just dyed the little baby hairs growing in blonde. Now it looks like I have a strange asymmetrical haircut, and its not as weird as a shaved head.
At least it'd look like that if it actually bleached all the way. It only bleached to a strange orange color. I forgot thats what my hair did the first time I bleached it! So it'll probably take a month or so before it matches the rest of my head.
Awesome.

SOLD!
I sold my contract! I'd like to think it was due in large part to my incredible skills as a saleswoman. Getting dressed up, playing hip music in the kitchen, emphasizing it's a popular neighborhood but a quiet house, took care of business basically.
I was feeling a little nervous right before I found out it sold. Do I even want to sell it? I love living here. My ward is awesome, I have a few really close friends two steps away, there are tons of bangin' hotties (isn't that what the kids are saying these days?)
And what if my job becomes my life? Will the boys I nanny always be in my space? Will they come downstairs to me when they have a nightmare instead of mom and dad? Will the parents suddenly be leaving on the weekends and expecting me to pick up the slack, an extra 20 hours every week?
Then, on my way to Sacramento for a spring break visit, I got the call from my landlady that it had officially sold. The first thing I felt was relief. No more rent. No more dealing with my landlady ( who is nice, but sort of unreliable when it comes to repairs.)
No more trying to get the internet to work in my room! No more roommates who hate me (one upstairs sort of had a problem with me...long story.) No more being kept awake by crazy party neighbors.
Honestly, I love my job. The boys I watch are fun, hilarious, and very respectful. The dad even told me the other day that they will clean out a bunch of storage downstairs so I can "ignore [them] whenever." Hahahah.
If it wasn't my own basement apartment with a separate entrance, I wouldn't consider it. But as it stands, it seems like it's going to work out juuuust fine.
I hope this post doesn't jinx it.

I'm Moving!
Before you get all excited (if you're from CA) or before you weep like a baby (if you're from UT) let me just say, I'm moving to LEHI.
Lehi, for those of you that don't know, is only about 20 minutes or so from Provo, where I currently live.
That's where I've been working as a nanny for a really sweet perfect family. Since everything has been going so well, we talked and decided that living in their basement would be awesome.
The basement has a separate entrance, the room is definitely bigger than where I am now, and it has its own kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, everything.) No rent? Living with people who are awesome? Yes please.
Yes, it's going to suck being so far out of Provo and all the social aspects of that, but really I don't have a life during the week anyway. I'll drive the 40 minutes through the 6 o'clock traffic, get some dinner, do some chores, then I'm passed out by 10.
I'm still going to be working at Sammy's on Saturdays, so it's already been decided that I'll just come back in town each Friday, try to squeeze in some dates, work on Saturdays, then go to my BYU ward on Sundays. Yes, this means I'll be living out of my car each weekend, but guess what? I've had plenty of practice doing that.
If I wasn't single, this would probably be more of a problem, but...as it stands, moving in with the family I work for is a no-brainer.

Sick
the boys I nanny have gotten me sick.
i've been running a fever for four days now, and it is getting annoying.
EVERYTHING makes me tired. Getting dressed is exhausting. Taking showers puts me to sleep. Can you imagine what sick kind of torture it is to watch a 5 and 3 year old while running 101 degrees?!

BYU
Congrats to Kristina!!!! Provo will be so glad to have you back in the Fall. High fives all around.
Even though Kristina is feeling BYU warm and fuzzies right now, I am not.
I scheduled a phone appointment 2 WEEKS ago with a financial aid counselor because I wanted to figure out what it would take to get me back into school.
My appointment came and went. I called the man I had an appointment with and left him a message THAT DAY. I even called the counselor who recommended him and asked him what was up, and he said he'd get back to me.
Well ladies and gentlemen, two weeks later, he calls me back. I'm in the middle of wiping food off a 3 year olds face, feeling frazzled from zero sleep and trying to find the car keys, when my phone rings.
"Hey this is so-n-so, I hear you have some questions about financial aid?" The guy was just calling me, planning on me picking up the phone then talking to him about my billions of questions right then and there.
SERIOUSLY, BYU?
Guess WHY I scheduled a phone interview? Because I work all the freaking time and I can't just waltz on campus and chat up a counselor whenever I feel like it. This guy didn't even mention ignoring my appointment, my voicemail, anything! I was so annoyed.
I seriously thought about chewing him out for being so inconsiderate and nonchalant about other people's schedules....
But instead I just told him I was working (which I was) and that we'd have to schedule another appointment. Which we did.
Now I'm ranting on my blog to get out the frustration that was not released since I didn't yell at him.

YOU ARE LAME AND THE ONLY REASON I AM SO MAD IS BECAUSE I AM A NANNY AND I HAVE VERY LITTLE GOING ON IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW SO DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY IT'S REALLY JUST MY ISSUE AND LACK OF RECREATIONAL INVOLVEMENT. MAYBE I'LL JOIN A CLUB OR SOMETHING. LORD KNOWS MORMONS LOVE THOSE CLUBS.

I am ashamed
I've been nannying for this awesome family in Lehi, as most of you know, and I've been keeping a terrible secret from them.
It's something that everyone else in the world knows. You can find out from looking at my blog, at my facebook, by running into me at the store, talking to anyone that has ever met me and hung out with me recently.
I hide it every day, going out of my way to make sure it stays unknown.
But now that I've been working for them for so long, it feels a little ridiculous.....
BASICALLY
I part my hair on the other side of my head every day. They have no idea that it's shaved on one side.
NO IDEA.
I was scared they wouldn't give me the job if they saw my hair. It's easy to judge. Then after I got the job I figured I couldn't just randomly show up with a shaved head, I didn't know them well enough to guess how they'd react.
I still don't know how'd they react, but I know they love me enough to seriously consider having me live with them, so I doubt my hair is that big of a deal.
but................. I'm still scared!
