Welcome to the label-hopeful's dream: A site that gives fans the power of getting you noticed for the true artist you are! We, the pompous Constant New Music team, are finally making our mad dash for musical power a reality. After years of listening to soul-sucking Top 40, seeing garage bands that raise our hopes but die out because of bastardization of the music industry, and almost deciding we were fed up, we created our own site. Web design nerds and obnoxious audiophiles have teamed up with fans, bands and A&R reps to get worthwhile music out to the masses.
We don't want any mp3/merch/video profits, it feels too dirty. In fact, all proceeds will go directly to the artist that created it. The cherry on top of this idyllic sundae is that 10% of what we DO make (from advertising/investors) will be donated to help kids learn about music and technology. Imagine a tiny you getting their head start in a lifetime of passion. You can help make that happen. It's up to the band if they want to sell music and merch through our site at all. Feel free to simply use us for publicity.
If a fan really wants it and votes enough, YOU can get a band out to the masses. If they want to get signed and start getting paid for what they love, they can meet with labels. All we need from you is a little financial nudge to get us started. We might be elitists, but we know when to ask for help.
Our music sales page that will be launched in January will allow bands to sell music for free- they get all the profits from sales. Our video page allows bands to post recorded or live shows to their page or our home page. All this takes money and servers....and we need a lot of both.
If you pledge any amount we pledge not to sell out to the man! CONSTANT NEW MUSIC will always be independent for the fans and the bands and we will constantly be sticking it to the establishment! TAKE THAT, SOCIETY.

Giants baseball cap autographed by 4 members of the team. OK this prize might seem random, but hey, we can like music and sports too.
Pledge of $300 or more:
A date with the founder of your choice. That means BJ, Clay, Brooke, or Laila. Just be prepared for some nerdy talk. There may be a World of Warcraft reference combined with Velvet Underground lyrics at some point during the evening.
Pledge of $400 or more:
The CNM crew will throw a party with you/for you/in your honor, and you will officially be listed as a contributor on the site. There will be much frivolity and gushing that comes along with your magnanimous contribution, you beautiful creature you.
