Today I had a procedure done, the name of which I can't pronounce let alone spell. Basically, I had an abnormal Pap, and since there is such a strong history of cancer in the family, they decided to biopsy.
I thought it would be just like the Pap: awkward, uncomfortable. Turns out it was much more painful, with alot of bleeding after.
My poor boyfriend has been frantic all day, trying to figure out what would make me feel better. But what can you do when someone throws acid inside of you, then scrapes, then throws more acid? Because that is basically what happened.
Sorry for being so graphic. My insides hurt.

Maybe it was a uterine biopsy? I had one of those, sounds like what you had. The doctor said, just before the real hurt started.."Here comes a little pinch." Oh fun. If she had said, "Now here comes a great big giant gouge! Brace yourself."...that would've been more accurate.
I am a friend of the family of one of your sister's neighbors. I love your blog. My sister reads your blog too and I tell my daughters to read it. Funny and real, quirky - I don't know what you're majoring in, but it should be writing.
