Hey ya'll
I probably won't blog for a bit since I sold my laptop today. It was about 3& 1/2 yrs old, cracked top, didn't play DVDs, ran so slow, turned off randomly, aka I was over it.
Sold it to a guy who fixes up computers. I'm hoping I can also sell this little laptop my parents randomly had laying around the house, and that with those sales combined I can buy a semi-decent laptop.
The thing is, I hate laptop shopping.
Thoughts? Anyone have a laptop they absolutely LOVE and think I would love too? Do you hate your laptop and want to warn me?
Let me know.

Get a tiny little Acer laptop. My dad is a computer maniac and he LOVES his. So much that he has two of them. They are beautifully tiny. no cd drive....but only 300 bucks. amazon.com is where the party is.
Dell Ispiron. WE LOOOOOOOVE IT!!! And it has so much processing power you can do a gabizillion things at the same time. It has everything you will ever need. Though it's a bit heavy, since the screen is HUGE. You can probably get a smaller screen size and be just fine. They are having mad sales at this time of year, so happy shopping!
I got mine at Costco. It's an HP Pavillion dv9000. $800 for a high definition screen with DVD/TV remote built in, DVD/CD player & burner, built in webcam and more. You can get the smaller screened version (I'd recommend it, mine is 17 inches and a bit intense for school commuting...) for a few hundred less. Plus Costco does financing for cheap, has technical support 24/7 free, and has a 90 day no-questions-asked return policy. Try it out for three months and take it back if you're not absolutely stoked. Costco. Do it. Love mine.
check out newegg.com - it's where the computer nerds get their computer stuff. there are oodles of detailed reviews on some of them (from people who are typically pretty knowledgable). and sometimes you can catch deals for under $500 (often with free shipping and supposedly pretty good customer service). I'm shopping for one right now and think I'll end up buying one there!
