Hospital

SO QUICK UPDATE:

I now live in Escondido at my folks house. I just finished decorating the room I haven't lived in since high school, it is cute. Maybe I'll post some pictures.

I am currently on the prowl for a job but mostly doing what I came home to do: chill with my mom.

If you didn't know, she has been in the hospital for about 6 weeks. Rough. Some days totally blow. Some days though, like today, are awesome.

Calee and I were there visiting when we decided to see what was on TV. Lo and behold, Lord of the Rings marathon!

The fact that we started halfway through the second movie combined with the all the crack they are pumping into her to control her pain levels made for an interesting evening.

We were simultaneously watching it and explaining it.

She insisted that Gimley was a talking horse.

She could not grasp the fact that he was a dwarf.

And then she thought we were watching Harry Potter for a while there. Every time someone said "Merry" as in Pippin and Merry, she thought they said Harry.

In her defense the ring wraiths really do look like death eaters.




So that is my life! Sorry for the serious blogging hiatus, my two readers out there. Hopefully I get back into it.
