Moldy Brains

Ever since stuff started getting serious at home, strange things have been happening with my brain. I forget basic things, like where the windshield wipers are on the car I've had for 8 months. I'll start cooking something then totally forget what I'm making. I'll be in the middle of a conversation and honestly forget my BEST FRIEND'S NAME. That's just the small stuff.

The following are real life examples:

I went to meet a friend at a Starbucks 5 minutes from my parent's house, and I got lost. After I called her for directions, it took 45 minutes to get there.

I locked my keys in my car.

I locked my keys in my car, with the keys in the ignition, and the vehicle STILL RUNNING. I had no idea until my Dad gave me a heads up 3 hours later.

I honestly thought someone stole my boss' car, even called the police, only to find it in a different parking lot (that happened yesterday. I was hysterical).

I see now that most of these are car related. I should probably stop driving.

I'm sorry about your mom, she is an incredible lady so you must miss her a lot. I'll never forget her and the amazing talents she shared with everyone. I bet she misses you too and your very cool, interesting brain :) Praying for comfort for you and your family.

Start repeating to yourself what you are doing. Write down where you are going, put it on three different calendars and in your phone with an alarm. You can even put sticky note reminders on your dash. The same thing happens to me when I am under alot of stress. My husband use to think I was nuts but now he doesn't question my methods and he knows I am nuts! Hahahaha! Hang in there.
