Hello old friends.

Wow it's been a while.

I hate to be the kinda girl that only shows up when she needs a favor....but....

That music site I've been collaborating with will have a Kickstarter.com account soon. That's a site where ambitious young projects try to raise money for their hopes and dreams and so they don't get depressed and jump off a building.

I just wrote out a list of potential prizes for donations, and I promise I'll put up the link once we are officially accepting the money. Here's what we have to offer so far:

A site for you, run by you. We aren't doing this for money, we are doing this to gain back some of our self respect as music lovers world wide. If a fan really wants it and votes enough, we can get a band signed. If a band really wants it and loads enough music/videos to be heard, they can meet with labels. All we need from you is a little financial nudge to get us started. We might be elitists, but we know when to ask for help.

Pledge $1 or more:
Good Karma. Don't go kick a dog, it'll cancel your donation out.

Pledge $10 or more:
CNM Stickers, designed by our lovely Laila

Pledge $20 or more:
CNM Shirt, also designed by our incredibly attractive Laila

Pledge $40 or more:
CNM Shirt/Stickers of your choice. Did I mention how hot our designer is?

Pledge $70 or more:
Personalized profile CNM shirt, stickers, plus a signed photo and blog shout out from our sassy album reviewer, Miss Brooke. (Almost as attractive as Laila).

Pledge $100 or more:
Glorious Laila will paint your self portrait, or your mom's portrait, or whatever you want. Basically we need money.

Pledge $175 or more:
Giants baseball cap autographed by 4 members of the team. OK this prize might seem random, but hey, we can like music and sports too.

Pledge of $300 or more:
A date with the founder of your choice. That means BJ, Clay, Brooke, or Laila. Just be prepared for some nerdy talk. There may be a World of Warcraft reference combined with Velvet Underground lyrics at some point during the evening.

Pledge of $400 or more:
The CNM crew will throw a party with you/for you/in your honor, and you will officially be listed as a contributor on the site. There will be much frivolity and gushing that comes along with your magnanimous contribution, you beautiful creature you.
