The 5 yr old had fun imagining the ultimate weapon today. It shot out things like fireballs with eyes, dragons, crocodiles, and tigers. As we were excitedly discussing the logistics behind feeding/housing 12 baby fireballs, the 3 yr old was excited about his own idea.
He started laughing and pretending to shoot a gun that caused huge exlosions and large amounts of terror. When I asked the kind of gun it was, he shouted "A potato gun!"
And then for the rest of the day, whenever the 5 yr old named anything dangerous, the 3 yr old would follow up with the potato version.
Potato gun, potato fire, potato demon babies, alien-killing potatoes, potato galore.
And each time I couldn't laugh or else he would cry. He is very sensitive about his imaginary weapons compared to his brother's imaginary weapons.
He creeped up to me slowly, with a scary monster voice, and announced that my hair had been magically changed....by an evil wizard...into....CARPET!
I laughed and he pouted so now I react seriously to everything.
I fake-cried over the potato gun so it's lookin like it's gonna be a good day.

I fallowed Nikki's blog, back when she blogged (like last month) & I have to say she is so darn cute, I kind of don't like her as much. I mean I've always seen the pictures, but seeing video of her talking & such....kind of too cute.
