I've had Jesus Christ Superstar on vinyl for a solid year now. I bought it before I had a record player because if it were physically possible to make love to a record this would be the one. I have loved that rock opera since I don't know when, thanks Dad for introducing us. This one's gonna last. I can feel it.
So I was looking through all my records (since I recently bought a record player) and pulled out that little treasure. I pulled out one of the sleeves and two postcards fell out. They were written in Spanish and looked ancient. Here is the translation:
#1
Dad-
Everytime I remember everything that I've gone through to become a Doctor, it makes me very grateful and it makes want to cry out of pure happiness and satisfaction for what I feel.
#2
Dad-
Its a day like any other that I'd like to take the opportunity to tell you that I love you very much.
Alberto Robles
Mystery of mysteries, both post cards were dated the same day but neither of them were sent, and they seem to be written by different people. The second postcard was written in formal ustedes (sp?) but seems far from formal, with all the love talk and whatnot.
Alberto Robles, I have been aching to find out the rest of your story but I have no way of doing it. If you are out there blog stalking and you find me, help a sister out and make me part of the loop.
Thanks.
p.s. thanks to logan for translation.
