Happy Voting Day

I have to admit, when Tina Fey (as Sarah Palin) used the word "mavericky" a solid ten times in the skit about the VP debate, I fell over with laughter, and felt like she had stolen some of my material. I had mocked the overuse at my job, but no one laughed since I work with 17 yr olds who make smoothies. The point is, that word should only be frequently used if it is in reference to a western movie in which Jodie Foster actually looks female.

While "The Maverick" is a really awful nickname for good ol' boy McCain, there has been much worse. Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada was known as "Lil' Fart". Prime Minister Thatcher of England was called "The Milk Snatcher," which is more rhyme-y than offensive.

My favorite, though, was when I heard people calling John Ewards "The Breck Shampoo Girl". He really was making politics pretty.

hahaha oh man.

now get out there and vote.
