Wow...this blog has been incredibly upbeat. Better bring it down a notch.
Things that DO totally suck right now:
-not knowing what is going on. ever.
-having dreams that make you cry
-not knowing how to talk to someone you love
-slamming your face into the corner of your desk late and night and waking up with a mouthful of blood (TRUE STORY)
-being really excited for your English class and then realizing the professor is one of those people that makes your face go numb because they are so boring.
-walking all over campus because you can't remember which building is which.
-telling people you missed 2 years of school and then they think you went on a mission and then you have to correct them. So you stop correcting them. And now a bunch of people think you went on a mission. To texas. Weird lie, I know.
-being single, and honestly not believing how something so good could suddenly be awful and just as suddenly...gone.
-Randomly texting your favorite English Professor (BRO Woods...if you read my blog you should remember him as a sassy man who provided many good laughs and sage moments) and finding out that his sister and nephew died in a bizarre boating accident last week. Wow.
Basically, the good stuff isn't that good.
The bad stuff feels like it should be someone else's life.

Keep looking for that silver lining Brooke. Don't lie about the mission, just say you took a two year hiatus. You did some "traveling" right? SF counts. Use that for nosey people who don't need to know the real reason. Hang in there girl.
You're writing. You're processing. All good. You will thrive.
tell them you were partying for a couple years in California's REAL party town.
yes....I mean Lincoln.
