Assisting, Personally.

So I have two jobs: Sammy's, a burger place in Provo where I make sweet tips and work my butt off til 3 am every weekend, and Complete Restoration, a restoration company in orem where I am an assistant for the owner.

My second job pays alot better than my first; however, I am seriously fighting the urge to quit. I work only 4 hours a day there, 5 days a week, and I get off at 1 so I have the rest of the day to do what I want. Kristina will work upstairs for another week or so until she moves back to San Diego, so it's fun to see her. Even though it's in Orem I have a boyfriend who drives me everywhere (that is, when he isn't in Mexico). And my boss is pretty laid back and doesn't give me very much to do. I'm at my job right now, as I blog this.

BUT....and there is a but....I HATE not doing ANYTHING. I HATE leaving work feeling unfulfilled. Sure, Sammy's is a huge pain in the butt sometimes because I work my tail off and feel like it goes unappreciated, but at least I leave knowing I worked my tail off. I can go home and sleep the deep sleep of a woman who just worked her tail off. I cash my sadly small paycheck with pride. But this job? This assistant job?

I leave each day feeling kind of like a failure. It's not like I'm a slacker- I do everything that is asked of me. I even clean and chat up the incredibly boring people who work here- two things definitely NOT in my job description.
