Today is a good day

Why?
Because my sister Nikki and said "guess what I have? YOUR LICENSE"

It had come in the mail to her house, since that is the address that is on the license (one of the fix-it tickets was to change my address, and since I actually DID all the fix it tickets but none of them got signed off by cops because of my crap circumstances, then that makes sense)

I think the fact that I paid my reissue fee for my license the DAY it was revoked skipped a few weeks of waiting around for the DMV. Usually you have to call them over and over to see if they have received payment then go in and take your test; however, since I paid it right away and it was all fix it tickets, I think they just mailed it to me the second I was eligible for it!

I started crying when Nikki told me, and I'm almost going to start crying now.
This has been a YEAR long battle of red tape and government-run programs. This experience has made me much more patient and much more political. I don't know alot about politics; yet I do now know a TON about the way the US government runs things. I know that when he entire country is in debt it takes waaaaay too long to fix your own debts (even when they are small) and that unless you spent a million dollars in the first place, you will get screwed and end up spending a million dollars worth of man power trying to fix the situation. The thought of socialized healthcare literally makes me want to vomit.

So thanks, California state police. I am such a republican now. Thanks to you.

And THAT my friends, is the most you will ever hear out of me politically. I think its the most I'VE ever heard out of me politically.

Hope it doesn't turn any of you off. If you diagree and think you have valid reasons, feel free to comment. I can only make choices based on my own experiences (which are dictated by my choices, so what do I know, really?)

anyway I'm happy. And i'll be on the road within 2-3 business days.

ONCE I HAVE MY LICENSE:
-get my passport
-find a (better) job
-go dancing
-go light the DMV on fire and dance naked in front of it.
